Nairobi delivery hub

Nairobi is Corpshore's East African technology hub and, with Kampala, a center for Swahili speech and East African language data. The owned facility covers English, Swahili, Kikuyu, and Luo natively. Kenya's reputation as an African technology center, sometimes called the Silicon Savannah, gives Nairobi a digitally fluent workforce well suited to annotation and speech work.

Teams here focus on Swahili text-to-speech and speech-recognition datasets, general annotation, and field collection. English and Swahili are both official languages, which keeps management simple while reaching deep native-language communities. Kenya's mobile-first digital economy also gives contributors strong familiarity with app and platform interfaces.

All output runs through Corpshore's three-tier QA cascade with in-region review, so Swahili and other Kenyan-language decisions stay with native speakers.

Kenya has a young, increasingly digital workforce, and Nairobi is its technology and services center. Widespread mobile-money and app use means contributors are comfortable with digital tools, which shortens onboarding for annotation platforms and speech-capture apps.
